KI-KYO works daily on web design, e-commerce, and desktop publishing, while occasionally creating and uploading robot images. Currently, her main lineup consists of characters created by combining tin robots with knitted robot characters.
While AI is increasingly being used in various fields these days, its application in the arts seems to be particularly controversial. I imagine there are many people who strongly dislike it. In particular, intellectual property issues such as copyright still lack adequate legal frameworks, and there may be a multitude of unresolved problems
The characters on this site were generated using Adobe Firefly, without any training to infringe on anyone's copyright. The variations in each character's patterns were experimented with using the recently popular nano banana
I understand that people may have differing opinions on characters created by AI, but from the perspective of future art and new creations, I think that the textures of tin, knitted toys, and unique chimeric feel can be expressed in interesting ways precisely because they are created by AI rather than by hand or craft. Of course, I myself love hand-drawn and craft works, and there is no doubt that there is a unique charm and value that can only be achieved through manual work, so I would like to show great respect to the artists and cherish their work

Also, perhaps influenced by Hapidanbui, we've decided to try selling our works in boxes as a group called RUSTIES (Rusty Ones?). We'll be depicting the daily lives of rusty robots. The individual stories of robots living in junkyards. We want to showcase the struggles of these melancholic characters who bravely persevere despite the rust in ruins and other abyssal places.
